When to Write
You may wish to contact us about any of the following:
- Metadata corrections – an inaccurate title, author name, or category assignment (for example, a book placed under “Cases, Clues & Suspense” that belongs elsewhere, or a reading companion mislabeled as an edition insight).
- File or formatting problems – unreadable text, missing illustrations, garbled characters, or a format that does not open on your device or browser.
- Accessibility issues – difficulty navigating the ebook with a screen reader, poor contrast, or missing alt text for images.
- Privacy questions – inquiries about how your data is handled when you browse or download material.
- Copyright or rights concerns – if you believe a title may not be in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights that you wish to discuss.
- General editorial feedback – suggestions for new categories, reading companions, or observations about the texts themselves.
What to Include
To help us act quickly, please provide as much of the following as is relevant:
- The exact URL of the page where the issue appears.
- The full title of the ebook and, if known, the author.
- The file format you are using (EPUB, PDF, HTML, etc.).
- The device, operating system, or browser you were using.
- A clear description of the problem you encountered.
- If the matter involves copyright, any supporting information you can share about your rights or the work’s status.
Our Approach
Every message is read. We review each report carefully and, where appropriate, make corrections to the catalogue. Because we are a small independent operation, we cannot guarantee a response within a set time, but we do our best to acknowledge substantive reports. For complex metadata issues—such as verifying the correct author of an early twentieth-century novel—we may consult reference sources before making a change. If your report leads to a correction, we will typically update the relevant page and, where possible, note the change in the catalogue. For accessibility improvements, we may adjust the underlying HTML or add descriptive text to images; if you encounter a specific barrier, describing it in detail helps us address it more effectively.
Before You Write
If you have a question about a particular title, you may first wish to check the reading companion or edition insights page for that work. Many common questions—such as the historical context of a story, the significance of a character, or the background of an author—are addressed in those notes. For example, the reading companion for The Story of a Bad Boy discusses the autobiographical elements of the novel, while the edition insights for Wyoming: A Story of the Outdoor West explain the regional setting and its influence on the plot. If your query remains unanswered after reviewing the available material, please do write to us.
Privacy and Data Handling
